Avoid Keylogger with UPSSL Version 2.0

As posted in the blog of Mr. F. H. Tong, http://onlineprotection.blogspot.com, the keylogger is another threat to online security.

This technique can record all keyboard input and has been used for watching online behavior so that parents can monitor their children and corporations can monitor their staff.

It is certain that it would become a tool for online criminals to steal the login and password. By embedding this type of program and slipping into our PCs, all keyboard input would become their database.

We have checked with a simple keylogging program and it is certain that every login and password will be recorded.

10.12.2005, 13:31. User: "FHTONG". Window title:"MSN.com - Microsoft Internet Explorer"
gmail.google.com
(our login) (our password)

When testing with our UPSSL Version 2.0 that employed copy and paste through the clipboard, the keylogger has the following records:

10.12.2005, 14:53. User: "FHTONG". Window title:"USC Password Security Storage System Light Version - Microsoft Internet Explorer"
[Ctrl+c]
10.12.2005, 14:53. User: "FHTONG". Window title:"hyperlink"
[Ctrl+v]

This proved that the login and password from our program would not be caught by keylogging.

However, when we tested with the input of numkey, website, login and password, they have been recorded because the input was through the keyboard.

Of course, if users would use effective keylog clearing program to safeguard their PC, there should not be any problem.

But there is no way to be sure whether we are hundred percent safe.

Therefore, we have prepared a method for users to protect their sensitive data.

Go to this web page first:Character Table

Then start the USC Password Security System Light Version.

All input including the numkey should be operated by copying each alphabet, number or sign from the webpage and paste on the fields.
